The idea came about when I was sat on our son's bedroom floor boxing up his tiny clothes to put away in the loft

These little garments hold so many precious memories and it just seemed crazy to put them away and out of sight. We knew we wanted another baby in the future so, at the time, it was the most practical thing to do.

Fast forward 3 years later and out came the boxes in preparation for his younger sibling. Our Rainbow Baby. We'd had a pretty harrowing time in-between so clothes sorting day was one of mixed emotions.

Excitement, fear, guilt, sadness, love - you name it, we felt it! Again this glimmer of an idea to use these clothes in some different form popped up in my head but we were about to experience the transition of 1 child to 2 children and were in no position to even think about starting up a business!

Our beautiful children, Stanley (5) and Martha (2) are healthy, happy and full of life and energy. They are the most wonderful little beings that we are so incredibly grateful for. We are now in a position to go for it and introduce you to Rainbow Remakes. We are so glad you can share this journey with us.

Each piece we make is created with a unique set of fabrics, colours, textures and embellishments. Each hold memories of those early days, trips away, first birthdays, Christmases, gifts from loved ones - the list is endless.
